absolutely does not work on dry hair or if you let your hair air dry
I've had a really good experience with Bed Head Ego Boost and I was looking for a new anti-frizz serum to replace my current one which has been discontinued, so I was pretty excited to try this, but holy cow it frizzed my hair out like crazy! First I used it on clean fully dry hair and the entire side I used it on kinked up and got all witchy and untamed. I didn't worry too much because a lot of these serums just don't work on dry hair, so I washed my hair later that day and used it after I towel dried, then let my hair air dry. A huge tangly mess! At that point I figured this must require heat to work, and because I have one really frizzy spot on the left side which I always have to flat iron to control, I thought I'd try my hot iron. While heat definitely improved things, my hair, even after a hot iron, was not smooth or controlled.

I love Bed Head Products. The only thing I disliked about this product is that it’s too small. I wish they had made a bigger bottle of this anti frizz serum. I have long thick hair so I need quite a bit of product to run through it.

LOVE THIS! MIXED HAIR
I have mixed hair. Mom is white/black and dad is black. So I always had the problem of straightening my hair but it being that frizzy and humid looking straight and it would be a mess within an hour. This product is amazing. I’ve been using it for like 3 years now. A little goes a long way and make sure you don’t put it on your roots if you are prone to have more greasy hair. I’ve literally been out in humidity, walked from my house to work in 95 degree weather and my hair stayed straight. It’s my favorite please guys buy this. The trick is to put this on towel dried hair after washing your hair. Then blow dry it with a round brush, I use the one with bristles in it to make it shy as well. And then you straighten or whatever you need to do. It works amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this straighten out serum! I have very curly hair and it’s nearly impossible to tame. I straighten my hair once a month on average and in the cooler months a lot more frequently. I almost always have fly always but using this serum eliminates the frizz I have and the fly aways. It smells great, it pumps easy out of the bottle and it is very smooth and easy to spread to my ends and throughout my hair. I can use this alone and it still works wonderful. I will absolutely keep this in my hair needs!

The serum has a lovely scent to it that is not overpowering. My favorite part of it is the lack of frizz in my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using bedhead products for almost 20 years. I love most of their products. I have tried this serum at least 5x and in different ways. I have applied immediately post shower, in towel dried/damp hair and in dry hair. Instructions fo recommend damp and I can agree that was best way. It's too sticky for dry hair. It needs the moisture! But it's perfect for my LONG hair and straightening it with a flat iron. In super wet hair I feel like it was diluted too much. It smells amazing just like other BH products. Definitely give this a try if you need a little extra boost straightening your mane. Bonus: hair is not oily and very manageable and soft.

Wasn’t sure how things would go, but after blowing drying and using hot iron, my hair was straight and looked great. Really great and smells lovely. Only use a small amount so imagine will last months! Would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this serum in my hair right before I put my hair in braids at night after I've taken a shower. I'll make sure my hair is semi wet. I have long think hair so I do two pumps per side and that covers from tip to the root. When I wake up and take the braids out my hair is nice and soft. I still get frizzy hair but not anything crazy. I live in Michigan so it can get humid, there's no stopping frizz. The smell is ok, nothing fabulous but it doesn't smell bad. Overall I really like this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the BedHead Straighten out serum to use when straightening my hair. I have thick long hair and it takes so long to get it right. My hair easily frizzes. So with that being said it didn’t take air of serum. I used at least on small drop for each section I flattened. I like the smell of the serum. And it works better than I expected. It doesn’t have a burning smell during flat ironing. And my hair is left smooth, straight and soft. It lasted longer than usual during the day. No sticky feeling. No dry itchy scalp.
