Q: will it work on color clothing like my yellow sweatier got a ink stain and I was wondering will it remove the stain but keep the yellow color or not?

A: Thanks for asking us about using a Tide to Go Pen on the ink stain on your yellow sweater. You'll get the best performance from your Tide to Go Pen by following this procedure: *Check for colorfastness on an inside hem to ensure the dye is stable 1) Remove excess residue from stain. 2) Twist and pull to remove cap from pen. 3) Press the tip of the pen onto the stain several times to release some stain remover onto the stain. 4) Rub the tip gently across the stain to remove it. If necessary, press the tip again to add more liquid and continue rubbing gently. 5) As an extra bit of insurance, dab the treated areas with a damp cloth to remove any excess Tide to Go solution left on the fabric after using the stain removal pen. If there's any problems, please, let us know, as it's our pleasure to help as best we can.

A: Great Question! The Tide To Go Pen works best on fresh food stains such as ketchup, juice and coffee, but does not work well on ink, blood, grease, grass, mud or old stains. Perhaps it’s user error but these never remove stains for me on the go. The Tide spray works fantastic (besides the strong smell) but not a fan of these. And I’ve been trying them off and on since they came out years ago. They may be messier but Shout wipes work way better in my opinion.

Please fix the packaging!
Great working product but the orange color on the outside of the stick wears off on my hands, bleeds onto the counter if you lay it down, the wetter it gets and the more orange color wears off. Please fix your packing.

I keep this stain remover pen in my purse. I initially purchased it because I have a cream colored canvas purse and I want to keep it clean. While I have used it on the purse and it works great it also has worked when I have spilled food on myself when out. I highly recommend keeping this in your purse!
