Defective and Target just lost a customer
These were in our bedroom for about eight months and the drawer faces started to warp and come away from the drawer itself. Unfortunately, we set them up well after we purchased them and by the time we noticed the warping, it was past the return period. I called target to report this because I feel like this is a defect with the item and target basically told me I was out of luck because the return period had passed. So, if you buy anything from target and it ends up being defective (even if it’s something like a piece of furniture that you would expect to have last beyond a year) you’re just out of luck. I’m SHOCKED that this is the policy for a company as large and wealthy as Target.

Love the look. They were okay to put together however I think I thought I’d rather pay to have someone else do it. I’ve had these for a while now, soon after we got them the drawer front popped off. And then a while later the other cabinet had the same thing happen. There is no real way to fix it. Target said I needed to bring the items back before they would offer a refund or send a replacement and that is a huge hassle so nothing was done. I should have found something different

STINKY
Unfortunately I have to agree with another reviewer that these are very stinky pieces! After 2.5 weeks they smell just as strong of chemicals as they did on day one. Makes me worried as a pregnant woman. Not sure how to get rid of the smell but glad I at least have an air purifier to remove some of the chemical smell. The smell is especially strong on the insides of the drawers so I don’t even open those up. Do not recommend.

Does anybody else have a problem with the ODOR?
I've had this item for almost 8 months now and there is a very strong chemical ODOR that still is just as strong as the day I bought it! I can't even open my drawer without getting attacked with the chemical smell. I'm assuming it's VOC and off-gassing-- but for 8 months? I literally have to turn my head away from my nightstand just to be able to sleep. Does anybody else have the odor problem? I've tried everything-- charcoal bags, baking soda, vinegar... if anybody else has a brilliant solution please let me know. It's disappointing because I absolutely love the design and I myself have not experienced the warping issue... just my nose being violated to the nth degree every night.
