What is your favorite breed of dog?

Who wouldn’t want a puppy under their Christmas tree? In the “Twelve Days of Christmas Dogs: The Classic Edition”, written by Amanda Sobotka and illustrated by Chris Dunn, each of the twelve days of Christmas are celebrated by a different breed of dog. Beagles, French bulldogs, dachshunds, golden retrievers and more follow the progression of this Christmas song. And throughout the story there are a pair of squirrels joining in the fun on each page. One will smile and giggle at the antics of the different dogs. The illustrator, Chris Dunn, has done a great job of drawing and painting each verse of the song. My favorite is the “Six poodles prancing”. What will be yours? Kids and dog lovers will throughly enjoy this holiday book, especially at a read a loud story time.
