Great book!
Joanna has a wonderful story to tell about her past and the lessons she's learned while growing up. As a biracial Asian woman myself living in the US, it certainly describes a unique expereince that many of us share but don't talk about.

Loved this!!
Loved this book and everyone needs to read it! For me it was relatable for a lot of Joanna’s mom moments and I believe a lot of moms could read this book and be motivated to keep pushing to be your best self! I listened to this on audio and am currently going back through my actual book copy again!

Slow read
I have enjoyed fixer upper and many of Joannas endeavors but this book is difficult to get through. Each chapter has a theme and it seems that a lot is repeated.

Disappointment
This book was very redundant. The author seemed like she may have been rushed to get a new book published. It was definitely reflected in her writing. I couldn't make it past the first chapter, because it was so nonsensical.
