Mexican speed and thrash metal force Phantom release their third full-length assault, Not Midnight Yet. Recorded and mixed once again with Héctor "Northen" Ibarra at Nehtron Studios in Guadalajara, and mastered by Patrick W. Engel at Temple of Disharmony in Germany, the new album captures the band at their most technical and dynamic. Tracks such as "Hordes of Bats" deliver relentless speed and riff-driven aggression, while "Dracula's Curse" and the title track lean into powerful mid-tempo dynamics and more complex structures. "The Pale Remains of Time" stands out as one of the album's most ambitious moments, combining melodic vocals, clean guitar interludes, and subtle progressive touches.
