Julie Morstad is the illustrator of numerous acclaimed books for young readers, including This Is Orange: A Field Trip Through Color by Rachel Poliquin and House of Dreams: The Life of L. M. Montgomery by Liz Rosenberg. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Júlia Sardà is the illustrator of many books for young readers, including The Queen in the Cave, which she also wrote, and Moving the Millers' Minnie Moore Mine Mansion: A True Story by Dave Eggers. She lives in Barcelona.

Sophie Blackall is the illustrator of more than forty-five books for young readers and a two-time Caldecott Medalist. Born and raised in Australia, she now lives in Brooklyn.
