Once this book got moving, it moved! Like glued to the page, taking the book to breakfast lunch and dinner and all the toilet breaks in-between type of glued to the page! 🤪

First of all! ALIENS WITH MAGIC. Are you kidding me?! It's everything my nerdy heart could ever want. Secondly, fast moving plot! Which I love.

World building- stellar and not "here is all you need to know in one exposition" you learn more as you read

How's the main character? I LOVED HER! Her motivations were so clear in every part stringing me along her journey masterfully.

Tropes: aliens 👽, dystopian, magic, enemies to lovers!

I got to read this book as an ARC but I will be buying my own hard copy because I need to reread, annotate-and reread again. THANK YOU FOR GETTING ME OUT OF MY READING SLUMP."
