Feeling betrayed, Zephyr sets off on his own and soon encounters Jasper, an ambitious axolotl hungry for power. Zephyr quickly finds himself embroiled in a fight between some axolotls who believe regeneration is the key to survival and others who want to evolve into salamanders and roam free.
