Q: How in the world do you use this?? The suppositories are huge and I don’t see how you put it in the applicator. Help

A: It’s not going to exactly stay put in the applicator and what will help us by wetting the suppositories before trying to insert. Hope this helps
submitted bySixela - 6 years agoA: Place the suppository pellet onto the end of the applicator tip face down. Hold the applicator by the end that does not contain the suppository. Get into a position either on your back or knees bent, and gently insert the applicator as far as it will comfortably fit. Press the applicator plunger as far as it goes and that will push the suppository out. Remove the applicator. As mentioned by @sixela it may be helpful to dip the suppository in water quickly before using.

But then I couldn't get the suppository to stay in place on applicatpr, so I washed my hands and then applied in manually, if you get what I mean ;). It truly WORKS!!!!

Made me feel like myself again!!
I was so ready to say I hate these when I used them - when using them your discharge can be thicker (or maybe it’s the ovule dissolving) I used it two days in a row and felt goopy(?) during use. I was ready to dislike the product and rate it poorly. BUT THEN: i saw the results. For the past year or so, i have been dealing with my PH being so out of wack. I went to to a women’s clinic and my regular OBGYN thinking I had an STI and everything came back clean both times and I was recommended these daily oral supplements from Bonafide which helped but I was still having yellow discharge, dry and intercourse didn’t feel as good. I felt something was wrong with me and this was how it just had to be now. I have had no yellow discharge since I used this product and felt way more aroused. I had used other boric acid suppositories and it would work for a day or two but then I’d be out of balance again. I find this extremely effective, I don’t use the applicator honestly but I don’t find it difficult to insert with my clean hands. I highly recommend this product

If you’re wondering what to buy and what product to trust like I was, look no further! And NO I promiseee this isn’t a payed review I genuinely love the product THAT much.. night out with your man? Just got off your period, got a lil BV going on? This product is your solution. My ph balance is so easily thrown off and even just 1-2 uses of this suppository im right back to normal kills any odor, but please remember if you’ve got chronic UTI’s and BV issues please go see a doctor no store brought product is going to help the way a professional can.

Feeling refreshed
I’ve used these suppositories for the last few years. I insert them in the morning and wear a light pad. Because of your body heat you will experience a light discharge. After 1 day I can tell the difference but I do it for 5-7 days. It’s also a great lubricant to use hours before sex.

If it had 10 stars I would give it all 10 because I have been smelling down there ever since I was a pre-teen and I would stink up a lot and I got tired of it now I bought it last week used the first dose and man let me tell you I don’t stink anymore down there my ph balance got better and I had a yeast infection 6 years ago when I was pregnant of my baby boy and I would get sweaty too and when I bend down on my knees the smell would come out but on the first dose wow!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩 even my husband doesn’t tell me I stink anymore

Only thing I use for BV and Yeast infections
I went through years of hell with recurring BV and Yeast infections. My doctor's only gave me pills and creams which would temporarily cure it, then another infection would develop. The conventional treatment for BV would eventually cause another yeast infection and the conventional treatment for yeast infections eventually stopped working and would also inevitably cause another case of BV. I was in hell. I eventually tried natural suppositories and even tried making my own, but I couldn't find an effective tried and true recipe, but that's just what honeypot has done! Finally a product that works for all my issues down there! I recently made the mistake of trying monistat again simply because they have a one and done suppository. Boy what a mistake that was! The medication caused the worst pain and itching I have ever experienced! I immediately tried to rinse out the medication and went right back to honeypot suppositories. If I use as directed twice a day for seven days, it always clears up BV or yeast. The only reason I went back to monistat is because I recently had BV and a UTI and had just finished another round of honeypot when I believe the antibiotics I took for the UTI gave me my first yeast infection I have had in a few years, I was just tired of having to insert suppositories so I went with the monistat, well NEVER AGAIN! I would gladly insert these soothing suppositories that get to work right away on irritation than EVER risk an OTC causing such HORRIBLE side effects. So ladies, even if you've recently tried an OTC or a doctor's prescription and it doesn't work or causes side effects, just buy the honeypot and finish a course of that. This is God's answer to the severe lack of interest and support in women's health from the medical community! I always have my honeypot suppositories when I travel and sometimes use just one after sex to prevent BV. I also now take a women's probiotic alongside this treatment to hopefully prevent recurrences. It's been a long battle, but with honeypot and replenishing my microbiome with probiotics, I feel like I will never again suffer like I have and it feels like I finally figured out how to prevent recurrences.

Worth a try
It’s worth a try if you frequently suffer from irritation and/or annoying discharge. If you have an obvious issue please see a doctor. But if you get an exam and it’s not yeast or BV this may work for you. It’s great for normal pH imbalances after your cycle or intimacy. I have sensitive skin and I’m highly allergic to most feminine products, so I don’t use this for more than three days at a time. I find that works best for me.

I’m in the very early stages of using this product but I already notice the difference. Like many others on here I had Bv. I never had the symptoms of discharge, odor or burning when I urinated. I only had intense labia itching, it was to the point that I thought I had an std. I tried different antibiotics, creams and topical’s and nothing worked. I had this burning itch for over a month only on the lips/labia. I saw everyone’s testimonials about these suppositories and I am a believer. The itch is almost completely gone and I’m only on day 2, I can sleep again. Thank you so much for this amazing product.

Product doesn’t dissolve I feel it takes 1-3 days to completely dissolve. It makes my discharge thicker which is odd and the SMELL honestly giving it a low rating because of that. It smells chemically to me.. like I have an instant frown which I haven’t experienced with other Boric Acid brands. The product does work, however not quick enough and the smell is gag worthy. I have a very sensitive vaginal area & I can’t lie this is the next best thing I’ve found since using Queen V blue bar soap. I used this product after my menstrual cycle once a day for 3-4 days and it works great.It keeps my vaginal area moisturized and smelling on point. I have no itch, no odor, & no side effects. Product causes thicker discharge as the product doesn’t fully dissolve. Creates an interesting smell. I decided to purchase since my go tos PH-D and Love Wellness were sold out in store, and it’s slightly less expensive. I would not buy these again nor would I recommend.

overall positive experience & fast results with only one dose weeks ago. I don't like that it contains oils and extra stuff we don't need in our Vajayjays. I won't probably buy again for that reason, BUT it did work & without issue with just one dose for me. I never tried a product like this before, but after UTIs antibiotics & probiotics & hormones & yeast prescriptions, BV & all the things one to the next, things were off & uncomfortable too long. this worked fast too & seems to be lasting very well also. I like that this is NOT in capsule form bc it's literally poison & capsules form is freaky to me, for toxic rat killer part. Appreciate this packaging to not confused for oral, for the safety. ☠️ 4/5= only bc of the extra unnecessary ingredients. Hopefully the rest of the box will not even be needed, overall very impressed.

Don’t waste your time
I recently tried this suppository and was underwhelmed. While the scent is natural with hints of cocoa butter, it lingers and doesn’t provide a good fix even w using 7 days. It also caused a thick, creamy discharge that lasted nearly 48 hours. Overall, I didn’t care for the experience and don’t feel it’s worth the price. I would recommend pH-D Boric Acid Suppositories instead.
