[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this food as a topper on my dogs’ kibble, and they love it! I like the ingredients and that it’s less processed so more nutrients remain. It’s also really simple to prepare. I’ve tried many different grain-inclusive proteins/flavors and they’re all great. I usually go with chicken now because it’s most affordable to me and my dogs do well on it.

I can't understand some of the negative comments? This food is FANTASTIC! My sister started her 4 dogs on it & they LOVE it ! So do my 2 ! She's feeding the Turkey & white fish. Im feeding the chicken. Are they not letting their dogs adjust to it slowly? We actually mixed up very small amounts & fed it to them on spoons which to them means it's a "special" treat. They devoured it ! We will gradually increase. Then eventually start adding it to their kibble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had dogs for over 30 years, currently my wife and I have 4 dogs from 20lbs - 80 lbs of various breeds and mixed rescues. We have used Honest Kitchen for the last 5 years primarily because of how bad kibble seems to be for dogs. Kibble is cooked at high temps to kill bacteria and dehydrate the food so It will store well and last, but by doing this they deplete all the natural nutritional value in the food and have to add back vitamins, minerals and fats so It has any nutritional value at all. All our pups seem to love the food, (we primarily use chicken) but have used other flavors in the past. All the pups seem well nourished, shiny coats and regular stools of normal consistency. I would recommend Honest Kitchen food for your dog, It is certainly not as economical as kibble, but I think in the long run it pays for itself with having a healthier dog. Kibble is kind of like fast food is to people, you can live on it, but at some point in you're life you're health will begin to suffer.

My golden retrievers love the honest kitchen and this dehydrated food in particular. My older one was a little finicky with her meals before I switched over to the honest kitchen. Ever since we switched, she has not rejected a single meal. The only gripe I have is that the ease of mixing and rehydrating , differs between the different proteins. Other than that, their coats are beautiful and their bowel movements are regular!

They used to leave kibble in the bowl all day long but now they get up eager to eat their Honest Kitchen and its gone in a snap. No worry about who is eating how much anymore. We stick with what works and what the dogs enjoy !! :) Thanks for such a terrific product !!!

While this hurts my feelings, I acknowledge that Mikan is a connoisseur and Honest Kitchen homemade food is deserving of his approval (grumble grumble).

Our senior dog loves THK dehydrated food. She was put on it to lose weight and it worked amazing. Our new puppy in the house is getting used to eating and you can tell he loves it also!

I love that it allows me to serve my little guy warm food, it doesn’t have a strong smell, and it even looks like something humans could eat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 large breed dogs (3yrs & 5yrs) that have been on dry kibble their whole lives and would demolish their food. Since we tried this, they won’t even touch the kibble. Only downside is they have been farting up a storm!! I figure this will pass with some time though lol.
