Not for Beginners

Pros: Clear Recipe Instructions, Meal Plans, Information About GLP-1s & Diet Cons: No Pictures For Many Recipes, Uncommon (non-standard pantry) Ingredients, Meal Plan Involves Meal Prepping & Leftovers For Most Days I was gifted this book by someone who doesn’t know cooking or books and it shows. I do not have on hand ingredients like raw edamame, persian cucumbers, harissa paste, arugula (although dandelions bloom nearby so close enough), stinky tofu, etc. and I don’t plan to spend extra at specialty markets to get them for a recipe I don’t even know will turn out the way it should. The meal prepping isn’t for everyone but this basically requires it if you want to try the plan. The recipes that do have pictures are okay but mostly look fake and too perfect not appealing or appetizing. If you are an advanced or adventurous culinary wizard, this book will be for you. If you are the common occasional home cook, this probably isn’t the right choice. I got a gift receipt so I will be returning it.

Love this Book! Has been a great help with my GLP-1 Journey!

I really like the well thought out information in this book. As someone who needs to understand the dynamics of things I am not fully knowledgeable, I found this book helpful in breaking things down and helping me make better lifestyle choices when it comes to food. Plus the recipes are so good!
