Book Synopsis
Build the garden of your dreams for a fraction of the cost.
Stop looking out at your garden space and imagining how it could be improved if only you could afford a landscape designer. With this book as your guide, you'll have the confidence to roll up your sleeves, become focused, and save money in the process.
You might have extensive plans to remodel your garden landscape with a new seating area, paths, and pergola, or you may simply want to learn how to complete tasks such as installing wire supports for climbers or drilling drainage holes in upcycled containers. Whatever the job, this book has all the expert practical advice you need.
Written by one of the industry's top landscaping tutors and featuring clear, step-by-step photography and illustrations, the book covers all the latest techniques, materials, and styles--from building decking with eco-friendly composites; to laying porcelain paving; to fitting a sleek, solar-powered water rill.
Whether it's a compost bay made from timber offcuts or a sunken outdoor dining space surrounded by raised planting, this book will give you the skills and confidence to try your hand at any DIY project in the garden.
