This study addresses the two most controversial issues in surrogate motherhood: the commercial aspect of the practice and the issue of parental rights. SCOTT B. RAE is an Associate Professor of Biblical Studies and Christian Ethics at the Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. He is the author of several books and many articles on ethics in medicine, the workplace, and in biblical studies.
