Limited clear vinyl LP pressing housed in a special transclear sleeve. Remastered by Robert Smith and cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios, London. 'Japanese Whispers' is a compilation of Cure singles and B-sides released between November 1982 and November 1983 and charted in the UK Album charts on December 24th, 1983.

Great album on reissued vinyl

One of their best early albums. I’ve enjoyed my original copy for over 40 years. This is a reissue. One reviewer complained about it being a German pressing. Many of the Cure albums are pressed in Germany. It doesn’t finish is the quality of the album, by any means.

Disappointed

I was very very disappointed when this arrived. The cellophane was loose and it felt like the sleeve was made out of paper. In the front it said "Japanese Whispers" in English but in the back it said it in German.
