This is a re-write of the beloved 1980 book - it now contains a lot of Scripture references

Apparently, after the original authors died, their son added a lot of Christian ideology into the books and you don't realize it until you get your copy of the book. I am a Christian and I lean toward a conservative evangelical belief, so the additions do not offend me. If you are a Christian, the additions are beautiful and well-done and I think you'll love the book. However, if you do not celebrate a Christ-centered Christmas, I wanted to ensure you are not unpleasantly surprised by these new additions (because I don't see anything that let's you know of the updates). I have many friends who are atheists and they would not be happy to receive this book for their children. I gave it only one star because I wanted the original book (like the one I had from the 1980s) and I think people should be warned about the changes.
