MOLD GROWS ON SPONGE
In less than 2 months, MOLD was growing on the sponge applicator! I’ve read this is a well known issue with this particular lip. That would’ve been nice to know before I bought it!

A great lip mask for casual use
I really like this mask. I got the drizzle color and I think it adds a nice pink sheen but isn’t super noticeable. It could definitely be worn casually (and I do often). It has a buttery soft feeling yet also a little bit of tacky feeling just after applying. I usually use two clicks and that works well for me. At first, especially if you have sensory issues I’d recommend rubbing the product on the applicator. I didn’t like the dry applicator feeling, but it went away fully after probably the second application. The only negative is the clicker sometimes gets stuck and will dispense more, but all I do is recline and it fixes it. I’ve been using it since May, not every day but often, and it’s just now starting to dispense less product.

I’m on the fence about this one… no allergic reaction like some people but does have some sort of dehydrating affect. It’s nice and plump looking when first applied but then it starts making lips look flat/dry

Bad allergic reaction
At first I loved this. My coworker said it made my lips look juicy and luscious, and it smells really good. After some time using it, it caused a severe allergic reaction. My lips were burning, swollen, peeling, cracked, vertical ridges on my upper lip. I had to go to the dermatologist. It’s a shame.

Beware
There is an ingredient or something in this that is incredibly drying and irritates my wet line soooo bad. By the end of the day after applying it, my wet line is raw.

Scared of mold rumors
In all honesty I haven't used the melt mask yet but after reading the bad reviews especially about the applicator growing mold, I'm not even going to use it. I do like the other things that came in the set of 5 lip products I got.

Lip melt mask love!!!!
I am obsessed with the Tarte lip melt mask and I am on my 3 tube of the drizzle LOL. I love this original Carmel scent and it just feels so good on your lips. I’ve become a collector of these. Anytime Tarte releases a new scent I’m on it. I wear this as my every day lip gloss not just at night! I hope Tarte comes out with just a lip melt mask set!!!!!!!

Dries Lips After A Month
I’ve used it again twice, and my lips are extremely dry and chapped. Both times, I got a sore in the left corner of my mouth. My lips are so dry they’re peeling, and I have visible lines running down them. I applied this on a Sunday, and the attached picture shows what they looked like on Saturday.

Mold
Molds fast. I have 4 of these, unfortunately and 2 have mold. The other two haven’t been used yet. It makes sense that it would mold putting that moist applicator in a sealed top, but it’s disgusting. Reached out to tarte to return and never heard back.

Feeling of Luxury!!
I purchased the travel size in Icing just to try it. I thought it would be like other lip oils and just stay on for a little while or maybe end up feeling sticky after a while. NO this lip melt is nothing like that! It's soothing to your lips. It goes on and stays on for a while. And it gives just enough color back to your lips that you look natural!! I LOVE this product! I'm buying the full size today!!

I received the "icing" shade in a deluxe sample and I'm quite impressed. The older I get the dryer & more chapped my lips are becoming. I love the texture of this lip oil. It's not slippery where it'll run around your mouth. It's a thicker consistency and stays put. I'm in AZ so the dry weather zaps the moisture out of you! Between age and weather it's a battle 😂 This feels great on my lips though without feeling too thick or thin. This oil is on my radar to purchase in the full size!
