This kitchen set is a ton of fun, almost all of our kiddos enjoy some part of it. The fact that some if it moves and or lights up is a lot of added kitchen play. They've held up to everything our kids have thrown at this set and it just keeps going. Very well made toys at a great price.

Bought this set for my 2 1/2 great niece and it was a hit. She was playing with it right away and making herself a cup of coffee and enjoying it too, too funny. Then the batteries were added and she loved the special effects/sounds. The toaster is pretty powerful, the bread slices fly out of there, a strong spring action. The mixer is another great addition. She definitely enjoys the set and it keeps her entertained.A great find for the price and quality, made well. :)

This is really a cute little set. The 3 appliances run on battery, all make sounds…toaster is a little loud, but cute when toast pops up. Not real big, maybe 10" high or so. I like the fact that the blender makes sound but beaters do not rotate, which is nice safety feature to keep little fingers from getting hurt. Got for my 2 1/2 year-old granddaughter. I would think littles up to around age 4 or so would enjoy.Update: I didn't think the beaters rotated, but they do, quite fast actually…I would still recommend.

They mimic what adults do daily and my kid loved it. The hand mixer's beater (1) broke after she dropped it from her 3' tall body. This should not happen. The 2nd beater still works but improvements should be made to this very special grouping of kid's kitchen accessories! The toaster is her favorite!

The coffee maker pumps water from the tank to the top, and it will drop the water in the coffee pot when it's put in place... very realistic for a kid's toy.The toaster with the batteries in it has a horrible shrill sound effect it plays. Keep the batteries out - the pop-up timer works without batteries, and is the whole fun behind it. It stays down for 5ish seconds if you push all the way down, and it pops up with decent force.The cake mixer w/ stand spins, but not hard enough to hurt anything. It's very loud though, with something grinding on the inside if you shake or bump it. The plastic beaters built into it also bend a bit easily, so I expect this to be the first thing to break with how rough my kids are.The whole set takes 7 AA batteries, but you might as well keep the 2 batteries out of the toaster.Some of the toy foods are too small/dangerous for my little ones... namely the hotdog is just the perfect size to be bad for toddlers. The plates are made from PP, but it doesn't indicate it's food grade plastic... The toast only has a "bread" sticker on one side...For the price, I am very pleased with this set. The kids love how realistic the appliances are, and play with them all the time. highly recommend.Made in China.

I got this to entertain my 3½ year old grandniece when she visited recently, and boy was she entertained! She loved it, and it kept her busy while the adults had time together. I intended to keep it here, but she thought it was a gift and there was no way I would make her leave it, as long as her parents agreed. They didn't. Her mom explained that she had to leave it at my house; the little pieces could hurt her 1 year old sister, who remained in Denver with her grandmother. Anyway, if a child likes it that much, that's good.I was bothered by all the little pieces that ended up everywhere and anywhere and, honestly, it looked a bit cheap, which didn't matter in the least to my grandniece. The coffee maker leaked, but I fixed it with non-toxic sealant; otherwise everything did what it was supposed to. However, I am glad she left it here; I think it may not hold up well. By the time they return I will have other ways to entertain her as well as having had time to study and strengthen any part of the kitchen that needs it. Still it had done its job well while my grandniece visited, so a definite 5 stars.

This is a cute little set, my 4 year old loves it. It is a little small but it works and makes my little one happy. It is very thin plastic so if you have kids that are rough with toys (like my little one) it may not last that long because the hinges on the coffee pot are cheap thin plastic. But so far it's managed to make it.
