Great, but
I've been putting this backpack through the ringer, as it seems many other reviewers have too, for three years now. Today, the zipper completely broke. Have to either replace the whole main zipper (very expensive) or the entire backpack (also very expensive). I'd probably buy it again; I'm just disappointed in the zipper.

Perfect work bag!
I have used this bag for about 4 years and it has really stood the test of time. I recently put it in the washing machine w a pair of sneakers and it came out smelling fresh and looking good! I was thinking of getting a different bag, but this one is really holding up well. I’m glad I decided to keep it.

Warrantee claim = 15% off a new backpack
Swiss gear warrantees are a joke. We bought a similar backpack and the handle came off within months of getting it. We submitted a warrantee claim through Swiss Gear and after jumping through all of their hoops, the warrantee claim was finally approved. And they gave us a coupon for 15% off. 15%! What a complete joke! I will never buy this brand again.

No Actual Warranty
This started out as a great backpack but after only 1.5 school years, the elastic in the shoulder strap broke. Even though Swiss Gear claims to warranty this product for 5 years, they do not honor it. First I was offered a 15% off coupon, then a 20% off one and now a 30% off one. I do not want to bargain. I also do not want to purchase a new one, with the chance that it is going to break again. My son is used to having backpacks last for years and years--only buying a new one when he outgrew his kindergarten one or started high school. I bought him this new one for college fully expecting it to last the whole time. It did not last even two full school years.

Toughest Backpack Ever
Swiss Gear make the most durable backpacks and luggage ever. I had this same backpack and after 14 years and constant travel use and being on 5 continents it finally wore out. No hesitation in getting the same thing again.
