What is the staples width?

My stapler says use 804-1/4, 804-1/2 etc The measured width is nearly 1/2". What is the ID and OD of a HD or heavy duty staple? I.E. Will a HD staple jam in my gun?

Swingline Staples are great. I have used them for 40 yrs.

The staples were not available in any hardware stores and getting them was great. They are now holding up the isulation mats and doing their job.

Still looking for the right staples for my staple gun

I'm sure they're fine quality staples for a regular stapler but I was trying to find something that would fit my Swingline staple gun. This far it's been impossible to find anything that is made for my staple gun. Do you not make them anymore??

Used to lay wall house wrap over T-111 after which we used 4 x 9 planks of Hardi ceramic siding. If Mother Nature resumes her true to form behavior, we should have many years of wear on this south facing wall and god knows; it might even resist the moisture arising from our Trane HVAC. Your staples did well. Thanks
