A: These are the ingredients according to the package so it looks like no flax! I have allergies as well so I definitely understand the concern but I love these and this brand!! Flour Blend (oat, tapioca, potato starch), Sugar, Palm Oil**, Filtered Water, Natural Flavors, Vegetable Juice (for color), Sea Salt, Baking Soda.

Normally I love Sweet Loren’s cookies, but these were too grainy. They are also quite small compared to the other cookies in the brand. The color is greatly misrepresented on the picture. Natural dyes are not going to create vibrant pink as displayed on the package. The color after cooked is like a dull beige with a very small tint of pink.

I usually love sweet Loren’s products but these are not good. They are not pink and taste terrible. Doughy and grainy. Play dough comes to mind.

First of all, these aren’t pink. They just look like normal sugar cookies. Second, they taste disgusting and are grainy in texture. They taste like straight flour. I’ve had many delicious cookies from Sweet Loren’s. This isn’t it.

I’m super picky when it comes to food (both taste and texture wise), and I’ve even more selective with my desserts. I have Celiac Disease, and this is the best gluten-free cookie dough I’ve had! I also love that they are a healthy, natural, and low-sugar option! I absolutely love them, and I hope these change from a limited-time item to a permanent item! Note: I eat them straight out of the package and don’t bake them.

Taste, texture, and color are off
I really wanted to like these, especially because I wanted something to replace my love for the Pillsbury sugar cookies with the pictures on them. I like that these are naturally colored, but that does leave them vulnerable to a varience in color, leaving mine a pink-ish gray color. Not super appetizing. My bigger issue was with the smell, taste, and texture. It smelled, and even tasted a bit, like play dough. There was also a gritty texture to it. I can eat them, but I don't think I'd consider buying again. Bummer.
