Caution First Time Users
I am not speaking to the quality of the product. I bought it for my cat, and it's a great way to provide catnip without hard sticks and rough pieces. My kitty does great with it. BUT I tried just a SMALL AMOUNT not a whole capsule, just a smidge and it gave me a pretty powerful all day stomach ache!! So don't take a whole capsule at first, I would recommend avoiding it for human use, period. You don't often hear of people taking it, TAKE A HINT, THIS IS WHY.

Poor results
I have taken Catnip in the past to relax when I was going through a particularly stressful time. It worked wonderfully. I purchased this for the same reasons, but have felt no difference in taking it or not taking it. Disappointing. I do normally value purchasing Swanson products otherwise as I feel they are reputable.

Great in my evening formula
I rotate Catnip with Chinese skullcap, Hops, Wild Lettuce, and Passion flower. They are all elements I find useful for my evening herbal formula.

Matches Brand Name Quality At A Much Better Price
I have been using a brand name catnip product for years and when I found Swanson's brand was at a much better price I purchased one small quantity bottle to test it out. The quality seems to be as good as the brand name and the price is MUCH better so I will be ordering Swanson's brand catnip in the future.

Not everyone is the same.
For me, this product gave me a bit of a kind of relaxation that was not comfortable, for some unspecified reason. Maybe subconsciously, I thought I might start chasing mice!

Catnip to Stop Worry
I have used Catnip for most of my 40 year study of herbs. It is relaxing and the best herb to stop worry. i highly recommend this herb. Catnip must be fresh to work properly. this product is fresh and it works.

This product didn't have any calming effect on me
I didn't notice any calming effect after taking this product. Maybe I needed to take more? No bad side effect, but no good one either. I would not buy this product again, since it doesn't seem to have any calming effect for me.

Finally something that works!!!!
I took this for it's relaxing properties. I have tried so many different things...you have no idea....including meditation and light and sound machines. Catnip is a great supplement....I did not feel any side effects from it and no hung over feeling. Having spent so much money in the past to help unwind, the incredibly affordable price at Swanson's is just an added bonus.
