Our balanced blend begins with berberine, an active alkaloid found in a variety of traditional herbals. We use pure berberine from an economical, environmentally sustainable source. Very Happy with the helpful blood sugar control this provides!

I am a diabetic and can always use an edge in lowering my sugar spikes. This seems to work for me, and I am happy to be a customer and use this product and tell you it works.

Not strong enough

I didn't realize the milligrams of berberine and the rest of them was so low. They say one pill with each meal 150 mg of berberine is not enough it should be 500

Blood pressure has come down

Since starting this, my blood pressure has come down. IMO, it's the Ceylon cinnamon helping there. I've been on BP meds for a few years, but couldn't get it down to 120/80. With this, I am now getting those readings at my doctor's. My cholesterol (while only a little over range) has also come down, and I credit the berberine. Berberine was recommended by my family doctor. I also take 400mg. of Swanson brand berberine, so does my husband, to help with his A1C. Even though he is just over range, he has not become diabetic like his 2 brothers. While I am also dieting, removed a few "bad" foods and have lost weight, I credit the supplement, as even after losing over 20lbs, my BP did not budge, but on this Complex, it finally did. Did the other 10lbs. make a difference? IDK, but my feeling is it's the Ceylon cinnamon.

Effective, but monitor your blood glucose levels!

If you are thinking about using this product to lower your blood sugar, BUY A GLUCOMETER! Especially if you are on oral antidiabetic medication or insulin. It's always a good idea to consult your primary care physician as well. I take 2 oral medications for diabetes and I had a hypoglycemic episode 2 days ago, which was unpleasant. HOWEVER, this medication is definitely effective for lowering blood sugar. I have been able to reduce my dosage of one of my medications twice already, which is my goal. You must be vigilant about how you feel, as well as what your blood sugar levels are to prevent hypoglycemia, as I do not see any research regarding the half-life of the different ingredients in this product. I take 1 pill in the morning with the rest of my medication. Best of luck!

Insulin use is going up not down?

I take insulin. My insulin resistance is increasing so I can't tell if any supplements are working? No side effects that I can see.

It works well for me.

This product is great for diabetics. I have used it for four years. My doctor asked what l was doing and told me to keep doing it. I recommend any diabetic person to try it.l take 2 caps per meal. I lost 90 pounds

Berbine Complex is great. It helped bring down my HA1C and I was able to cut my met Forman med from 1000mg twice a day to 500mg daily

i used berberine for approxmenly 3 yrs great stop tingling of feet and hands at night until this last order nothing--- just like before taking berberine numbness of hand and feet returned did they sundenally stop using berberbine and add filler and keep calling it berberine please inform the proper personal about the sunden change in berberdine

I am doing the same, cannot say which influence the Berberin has, or some of the other products I use, to keep my Diabetes in check. After 13 years of just staying on natural products and watching my diet, besides exercising, I started on Medformin once a day, to see if this will stop the slow progression of neuropathy. My A1c is still below general prescription level. But the effects of diabetes are hard to deny.
