Flimsy

This shepherds hook is so flimsy it wobbles in the wind. Not suitable for potted plants. Save your money unless you plan to use it for a very lightweight bird feeder. Huge disappointment!

Each pole is in three sections that screw together. There are no set screws to stop them from unscrewing. When you put the weight of a hanging basket on the hook, the poles lean forward at each of the connections. Very disappointing.

sturdy, durable, attractive, easy to assemble

Quality and durability of this pair of hooks is good, especially for the price. The design of the prongs that anchor it into the ground makes it very stable and easy to press into the soil with a hard-soled shoe. If you want a taller hook, it's easy to extend one by adding segments from the other.
