Soap dispenser does not work.
I cannot get the soap dispenser to work. I have tried diluting the soap with water with no luck. I even tried just straight water but nothing is coming from the dispenser container into the small clear hose. The power washer works great for projects that don't require soap. Help please!

Some issues
There are two issues with this pressure washer, which if corrected would make this a 5-star pus product. First, the electric cord. The length of the cord is more than sufficient but the cord is so stiff it is almost impossible to work with. The cord is like a coil spring when you try to unwrap it, if you need 10 feet of cord you need to unwrap 20 feet because the cord will not straighten out. It would be interesting to know why such a low-quality electrical cord was used on an otherwise fantastic unit. Second, the pressure washer hose. The hose that comes with the unit is a flexible high quality rubber hose, the problem is it is only 20 feet long. 25 feet seems to be the standard for most brands and is just about perfect for most uses. I bought a 25 foot Sun Joe brand replacement hose and was quite disappointed when I receive a cheap 25 foot plastic hose. As I said, this would be the perfect pressure washer if these 2 issues were addressed.

Awesome - dont waste your time with gas powered
Bought this 2 years ago - got it out today and once again - on immediately and did a GREAT JOB! First pressure washer was a toro for my house/car/stained pavement. Second time I started it up (8-10 months later) - it was toast! Carburator was done. Son had same experience. This SunJoe is every good as excellent pressure as gas, but it actually WORKS the second time. This has started and performed every time I started it over the last 2 1/2 years. Awesome unit

Good unit, quiet but chemical jug won't work
This unit works great, but the draw from the jug using soap tip is dead. I have checked everything, took front apart and verified that the lines are clear, and the variable is working fine blowing air through it, but yet it will not pick up any product from jug. This is a huge let down of this unit. Now lets talk about power. This unit actually gives you 1700 psi at the tip. I converted it to 3/8 quick disconnect and have liquid filled gauges to check this and actually run on the unit full time to monitor pressure. The 15mm inside bore 22mm outside connector to convert to 3/8 quick disconnect is available at a very popular website to eliminate the cheap, short pressure hose with screw on fittings this unit comes with. I put a 100' wall mounted quick disconnect pressure hose in my garage, ran jumper to unit and I NEVER move it - period! With the unit having the inlet in the front and the pressure in the back, combined with the power cord, if you move it very much they all get tangled up constantly. The gun that comes with this sucks, way to short and connector is in front of trigger, which is where you do NOT want it, it needs to be at far rear of trigger. It killed my back to use that trigger as it is so short I had to bend down at such an angle, and I am only 5' 10" tall. The best thing to do is build your own at the length you want with a vented grip which is most comfortable. BTW, the SPX 3000 which I also own will yield you 1200 psi at the tip as I own that one also. You never get anywhere near what the max psi is on any pressure washer so since I know what it truly is I can let you all know as to clarify what to really expect. This has also been compared to more than one gauge so it is totally accurate. The tips work very well, and I bought a turbo nozzle that works well with it. Be careful what you buy for this unit as you need to get correct size nozzle for pressure of unit. l do believe if my memory serves me correctly a 2.25 or 2.5 will work best, but research it to be sure. Overall, a nice unit, but needs work to get it to where it is comfortably usable. It does an awesome job cleaning the house, driveway, washing the car and so on. It will cost some more to get it where you need it, but overall I do recommend this unit.

I like it.
I like this pressure washer , I use it to detail cars. I like the feature it shuts off when trigger is let off..... The only thing I don't like is the hose needs to be longer. I ordered an extension hose and the hose sucks. I haven't had much luck with service dept. but the machine is nice.

Great until it lasted
I used this product about 15 times for my porch, patio. It suddenly stopped working few days ago. I disconnected the gun, hose everything. It still doesn’t turn on. Tried contacting Sun joe but it takes forever to talk to someone. Hung up a couple of times .. Love the product but I’m disappointed with its longevity

4 replacements and still didn’t work
Less than a year I had to replace it 4 times. Items would randomly stopped working, leaked in places due to broken O rings and couplings upon receiving, finally just threw it away and took the financial loss. Left a review but it’s apparently been deleted by sunjoe, furthering my frustration and suspicion.

Every time I use it, I'm super impressed!
I've used this pressure washer on my driveway, house, deck furniture, a concrete retaining wall, to clean tools after pouring cement, etc. It's a joy to use, and the design is elegant and efficient. The built-in failsafes are also pretty impressive. I can't think of anything negative to say about this product. I wish I'd had this pressure washer 30 years ago. (I don't usually write product reviews, but I felt compelled to make an exception in this case.)

More power needs more power
Coming up from a 3000 I can definitely notice an increase in the pressure generated by the 3500. But more gratifyingly, the higher pressure comes with lower pump noise and vibration, which makes a long session more tolerable thanks to the different pump design. The only issue for me (and admittedly it is noted on the machine) is that the 3500 requires more juice out of the circuit than the 3000 did and I found several of my usual outdoor plugs would trip at the mains. Not dangerous but unusable. Luckily I found a few that had a minimal load and they worked fine. I needed to purchase a (not recommended) extension cord so I made sure the extension could carry the 15 amp load. Worked great.

Good electric power washer
This washer has enough power for my needs. I was able to remove several years of built up mold and mildew from the north side of my house. Did a good job cleaning my patio with the addition of the SPX-PCS10 patio attachment. My only negative is winging up the hose for the gun, there should be a reel or some easier way to hang the hose when not in use. I would recommend this washer to a friend

This Sun Joe pressure washer is the best!!
I cleaned my red cedar fence with ease. No chemicals just power washer. My gas powered washer would not start after sitting up last winter. ( go figure). I am pleased with this unit.

A great tool for quick cleanup and big jobs
I love this lightweight, easy-to-use pressure washer. It’s plenty powerful, cleaning mildew and moss from deck boards and rough concrete. It’s so lightweight that I can carry it anywhere I want to use it, and I love not having to fight with a gas engine. It’s so much quieter than a gas-powered machine too. It’s so quick and easy to set up and use this pressure washer that I have been using it for little jobs I used to do with the “jet” setting on a garden hose spray nozzle. This does a way better job, way faster. I bought this product based on two recommendations. First, we own a Snow Joe battery powered snow blower, which performed amazingly through our first winter owning it. So we felt some trust in the brand name. Second, it was recommended on Wirecutter.com, which generally gives good guidance for practical product purchases.
