Sugar Paper Essentials 11"x9.5" 2026 Large Frosted Planner Green Stripe

I really like this planner, I get it every year. However this year the binder ring is smaller. Not as easy to flip the pages. I hope they go back to the larger binder ring.

I’m between 3 and 4 stars on this one. I really love Sugar Paper products, from the company and all of the Target line. I’ve purchased so many Target x Sugar Paper products, especially calendars, over the years. I bought this calendar in Drive Up, sight unseen. I assumed the heading font size, the light grey ink coloring, and the pocket folder would have improved. Unfortunately, they have not. The headings font (the daily categories font, i.e. “to call, to email…” ) is too small and not distinguishable. The light grey font coloring is really too faint. But what annoys me the most is that an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper does not fit in the pocket folder, and the pocket width is just about an inch too narrow. Whyyy?! Plus, this year, my first calendar page has an ink blot defect. I would have returned it, but I discovered all of this after I had already written in it. This calendar design layout is great, and the paper thickness is good, but overall the details matter. For this price point, there is room for improvement.

I ordered this online and didn't realize until I brought it home and started writing in it how light the print was on the calendar, and the numbers are quite small on the dates. My 20225 calendar had much darker print and larger font for the numbers. SInce my vision isn't the best as I am getting older, it is hard for me to read it, and I might have to hand write all of the dates in for the year. I wished I had noticed this before I started using it or I would have traded it for a different one. Everything else about the planner is excellent, so if I had good vision, it wouldn't be a problem using it, and I would have given it 5 stars. I suggest looking at one in the store before deciding to purchase.
