Not good
I do love other suave products, but for some reason, the formula on this one is very watered down. It’s sprays heavy and not fine. Plus it weighs the hair down. It also doesn’t hold very well either. Basically just makes the hair kind of flat.

Difficult to washout.
I didn’t use this before the reformulation, but it absolutely leaves a weird residue in your hair that is very difficult to wash out. It does hold well and love the non-aerosol option, but I’ll be trying a different brand and probably not finish this container.

Dries hard and quickly. Pretty easy to build on the hair but sometimes leaves a flake if you use too much. It smells pretty good but not over bearing!

You don’t have to spray a lot at all!!
The biggest plus is that this holds all day! I have C4 hair and my kids have a softer hair and it works for all three of us!! it’s amazing, affordable, I’ve used this maybe4 or 5 times on myself and a handful of times for kids for events and it has never let me down!!

“Even men need some crunchy hair sometimes… -1 star for the bright pink bottle.” I use this Suave Max Hold 8 when I actually need my hair to stay put — windy sports weekends, date nights, or when I’m pretending I still have the same hairline I had in college. The hold is strong, lasts all day, and doesn’t smell like a chemical factory. It will give you that classic “crunchy hair” feel if you overdo it, but honestly, that’s part of the charm with a strong hold spray. My only gripe? The bottle is hot-pink, which makes me look like I’m borrowing Sara’s products. Suave — give the guys a neutral option. Still a solid, reliable hairspray that does the job every time.

Affordable Hair Care
I used the Suave Hair spray years ago. It does give you a bit of a strong hold. However my hair feels very hard and cakey afterwards. I don't think this is for me. This is a very affordable product though, if you are in a pinch. It locks hair into place.

Definitely a great hairspray! It smells like your normal hairspray, wish it had a little scent to it. But it does get the job done, holds for a good amount of time! Bottle is a cute pink color! Love it.

I've used this hairspray for years. It now has an unpleasant scent. I know exactly what the scent is, because I have smelled it in some hand sanitizers :off brands", and I have thrown them out. Which leads me to believe you've changed where you purchase your alcohol content. Its disturbing because now the unscented has a strong scent. I can no longer recommend this brand.

This is the only hairspray I've ever used since I was a teen and it my go to always and it doesn't cost me a fortune! Hold level is amazing!! It actually tames all the annoying baby hairs that bother me all the time ! I'm definitely going to keep buying the Suave hairspray!!

Max hold
It really is max hold. My hair was stiff for hours. The scent isn’t as strong as the aerosol version which I liked but it did make it harder to get an even layer.
