I make other kinds of coffee and only this one tastes terrible like this! It’s a burned chemical smell every batch! Throwing it out.. waste of money after 3 tries.

Not safe to drink.
Starbucks use chemicals to remove cafeine making this unhealthy to drink, it can cause cancer, the chemicals ethyl acetate or methylene chloride are used to make paint remover.

Solvent based decaf process = Unhealthy
Wanted to buy this but they use SOLVENTS to decaffeinate their coffee. Always look for water process or Swiss water process for decaffeinated coffee. Peet’s uses water process exclusively for a their decaffeinated coffees.

Chemical solvent
This tastes great, but I am disappointed to find that Starbucks uses the solvent to decaffeinate rather than the Swiss method. I'd rather pay more for a quality product. Too bad, because the taste is great.

Toxic garbage.
Starbucks no longer offers any coffee decaffeinated by the nontoxic Swiss water process. Tried this variety, thinking Starbucks would surely use nontoxic decaf since it’s such a big company. Should have known better. I had a headache within 30 minutes of drinking this.
