We have had this for more years then I care to count but now we are in need of the resistance tubes and they tell me they are on back order and will call yeah right. I would give it better ratings if I could get parts

This product is horrible! I loved it the first week. Now one of the wheels is horribly shredded and it makes an awful squeaking noise every time I pedal.

Compact exercise equipment
I needed some new exercise equipment that didn't take up as much room as a bike, treadmill, or elliptical. This is a good option for me. It was easy to build (althought it had some grease on it but that was wiped off easily with a paper towel). It comes with all tools and parts to build. It's not too heavy nor very loud. I would suggest having your desk at least 32 inches off the ground so you can keep it underneath and use it; otherwise you may hit your knees.

No more excuses about the heat, not enough time, too late... This solved the problem. I can use the strider while I'm watching TV, working on a project, reading, or talking on the phone. I get my steps in, raise my heart rate and burn calories. It's light weight so I can move it room to room. Well worth the investment.

I want to give this 5 stars. I bought this a couple months ago and loved being able to pedal during work meetings. Unfortunately both roller wheels have dwindled away after only a few hours usage adding up. Super disappointing for the price. I requested to get them replaced by the company and hoping I'll be able to! If not, I'll definitely be buying a different brand, because now it's like I'm trying to pedal a squared wheel. Bummer.

It grew on me!
When I first put it together and hopped on I was disappointed by the tiny stride length (I mean I knew it would be small, but it was smaller than I expected) and I also felt like it wasn't as stable as it should have been. I initially thought I'd take it back. But once I placed it on a low pile rug and put on some appropriate shoes, it felt MUCH more stable. And after pedaling for about two minutes, the stride and motion felt completely natural. It is closer to a standing bicycle or stair stepping motion than an elliptical, so if you go into it expecting that, I think you'll like it better. Now that I've had it and been using it for the past week, I really do love it. I put it under my standing desk and used it while I was on an hour long zoom call. And it's super easy to hop on and use while watching tv because it's really quiet. Ultimately it does not replace a full sized elliptical, but the fact that it's portable, quiet, and well-priced makes up for those things. Cons: I still feel a little bit of a rocking motion occasionally when using it and when I put it together I got some sort of clear oil all over my shirt. And, if you want to use the resistance bands you need to grab them before stepping on to the pedals (they also just feel a bit awkward to me), but otherwise it's been a good purchase so far.

Hope this will turn a frog into a prince
I’ll be real: I’m a 250lb man with weight to lose. Hopeful this will turn my soft saggy body into a copper Greek god to impress my misses. First use of 25 min has my thighs burning like Icarus and has me questioning my past 3 years of dietary choices. 2nd use has my blood pumping to the beat of Darude and the Halo 3 soundtrack faintly reverberating in my head for all 35 minutes. 3rd use has my knees cracking to the beat of my Rastafari Shaman neighbor’s call to prayer. All in all a solid morning, 9/10 would recommend.

Unusual noise coming when pedaling.
When I pedal, the “pedals” make (somewhat) loud noise. I don’t notice it unless there is no other noise in the room. It sounds like something needs to be greased.

3rd purchase: Only lasts about a year.
This is my 3rd time purchasing this machine. Each time the machine last less than a year before their is oil leaking and the internal mechanism breaks. I like the idea and it’s practically, while it works. I keep buying it because it saves space and I can work out indoors whenever the outside weather is not good.

Bought it once’s right pedal fell apart got it replaced couple months later same thing happen please don’t buy this junk ! This is great for someone that just uses ones a month not an everyday thing !
