Stainless Steel Food Chopper Green - Figmint™

Does not chop as described. Tried with an onion, which I cut into smaller pieces. Tried chopping cilantro. Failure. I’m returning it.

The guard does not stay on and the bottom piece continuously falls off, as well. It also does not chop vegetables at all. Do not recommend. Save your money for a better alternative. Will be returning.

Broke after about 4 uses. The top chopping mechanism is attached to the blade with a fragile plastic piece and broke after normal use.

I got this for my son in law because he likes chopping food. I haven't seen one in a long time and was happy to find it. he hasn't said whether of not he used it yet. maybe next time I'll buy him a dart board.

The first time I went to use it, I pressed down and something inside snapped in half and it all fell apart

Broke just opening it.

Item broke the second time I used it and I wasn't exactly pushing down hard.

Awful, just awful; this does not cut through anything

The blade does chop well at all. The green bottom part does not stay on for NOTHING. I’ve tried everything. I’m chopping away and pick it up to unscrew to put in a bowl and boom the green part falls off and onions all over the floor. I was so disappointed.

Can’t even chop through tomato skin. Not worth the buy.

I put in small amounts (beets, onions, celery, peppers). Works great. Overloaded it on first use and did not work well.

Doesn't chop well, just felt cheaply made

I purchased this as the one I had previously broke- this one was the worst purchase. The pieces would not stay together, it was hard to clean. Ended up just tossing it rather than keeping it. Very disappointed in the quality

If you're looking to complicate chopping an item, then this is the food chopper for you. Doesn't cut through vegetable skins, barely fits anything in it, pain in the butt to clean. After you use it, you then have to rechop whatever it couldn't anyway. This is the second Figmint item I've bought and the second I've returned. Cute stuff, but all seems so poorly made that I think I'll be moving away from this line.

Comes apart CONSTANTLY... item gets stuck, blades are too dull to chop. Waste of $$$$$$

I really like the size that this chops the food down to. I wanted it because my food processor made too much juices when chopping so this was perfect. It easily comes apart to clean as well. But my main problem with it is how often it gets stuck. It will be working perfectly and then get stuck in the middle of chopping something, even if it’s not a big amount that is being chopped.

This is a lil chopper and good quality. The cup size is small so if you want to chop quarter of the onion it’s perfect. There are 4-5 pieces that assemble in this chopper and I find it bit hard to clean it. I feel it’s too much effort if you want to wash it every time. The blades are sharp and does the job well

We all know it's cute. My partner went crazy on the whole Figmint line and my kitchen is full of the stuff. Most of it's good/great. This chopper, though... at $15, I feel like it's about $1 per use... then you need to buy a new one. First one: worked as expected (read the directions, people!) and we were really happy with it. After about five uses, the blade guard got warped in the dishwasher (probably my fault)... so we bought another one and kept the first one because the main unit (and clear guard) were both fine. Second one: worked for about a month... then stopped rotating when the chopper retracts. Initially assumed it was just some food stuck in there. But no, the mechanism is worn out. No problem! I have the First One, still! back to the First one: same thing... wore out after about a month in the same way. Still chops... goes up and down and all that. But doesn't rotate. So, now I just rotate it myself, LOL. Chop with the right hand, and continually rotate the whole unit with my left. It works... just annoying. I will probably buy a different brand when I see one in some random store. But I can't recommend that anybody buy this until/unless they come with a 2.0 version.
