Prevents too much light from passing through

Arrived very quickly and the shades themselves look quite nice, but, the styrene liner inside REALLY dampens the amount of light coming out. Returning due to that fact. I needed light in the room not solely under the lamp.

I looked at 100 websites for the right shades. I should have come to Lamps Plus first. They always have what I want. These shade are high quality and fit perfectly. I have never seen better packing of a product.
