Springbok State Plates Puzzle 1000pc: Americana Jigsaw for Memory Skills

I consider myself a puzzle "snob" because of the number of puzzles I make. I almost always buy Ravensburger and never have issues with them. I decided to buy this as it was on sale and I had a gift card. About 25% of the pieces were still together in the bag once opened. The amount of "dust" is annoying. It's like a shedding dog and you just keep finding more and more of it. The pieces don't snap together easily like other puzzles I've done. You almost have to pick up pieces just to get them together. A puzzle should only require one hand and not two to get two pieces to "click" together. Finally, puzzle cutter didn't cut a straight line. As shown in the picture the edge piece is clearly curved test fit together with pieces on both sides. I won't buy this brand of puzzle again even if you paid me to do it as this is one of the worst puzzles I've ever encountered.

I have always loved working jigsaw puzzles. I found the State Plates puzzle and had to work it! As a child and an adult I have lived in states from California to Indiana to Texas and Minnesota. I traveled Route 66 as a child visiting relatives and famous sites. This puzzle brought back so many memories and it was a blast! It was challenging but so worth it! The colors are beautiful and the quality is superb. I have framed it and will work another! Thanks, Springbok!

Initially, I purchased this puzzle as a birthday gift for a client that has cerebral palsy, she loves to work on puzzles! She started to work on it and realized it was too large for her table area and brought it back to my house for us to work on it together. Once we got started on it we didn't want to stop.....until we got to the red and white part and saved that to finish on another day. Naturally, the red/white sections were more difficult but not so difficult that we wanted to quit. :-) This one is frame-worthy, but for now, it will stay in my stockpile to be pulled out and completed again.

Loved this puzzle as it had a variety of ease and challenge. Also loved the retro license plates.

This was great fun! Very colorful and clever, shaping the US with license plates. Memories of living in some of those states with those exact plates. Of course the usual borders that always create a challenge!
