Do not use during wind. Used item less than 5 times at the beach and a part broke off on the hinge. I did not keep receipt and the company will not replace the part as they "do not vend this part individually." I offered to pay for the part as well. They will do nothing without a receipt and will not advise warranty period either. For the price, I would not recommend unless it is used when it is not windy. I have had regular beach umbrellas last longer than this. I recommend the Shibumi for the beach.

Love this! Used for the first time today at a soccer game and it worked perfectly. I have a pop-up and was looking for something easier to have at games when it is just me. This fits that bill perfectly. It is long while stowed, I have a full size Volvo s90 sedan, and it is too long for my trunk without folding a seat! It does fit in the back seat though. It’s about 5ft tall when laying on the ground, and each half has about 3ft of space. I have extra wide camping chairs, and normally these types of things are too short/ narrow for putting 1 chair, especially 2. After using it today, it can totally fit 2 chairs easily. The chairs I use are the Nemo Equipment Luxury Star Gazer Recliner chairs. They are wide and tall. The photo I took today is of one of the chairs underneath it. My head was not touching the tent at all. It comes with stakes that are super easy to use and held up well with 12mph gusts today. This is super portable, light, and easy to use I have nothing negative to say!

This thing is great for the beach - wind resistant and very good coverage from the sun and rain. The red one is slightly warmer to sit under than the grey one - if I had to choose again I’d get the Grey for that reason.

Worked just as we hoped and was larger than expected which was a nice bonus. Kids love it for games and outdoor music festivals. Great sport umbrella.

Not vented properly for sunscreen use. The wind absolutely destroyed this on first use. I just returned it. People aren't using this typically for rain protection, more for sun protection on the beach etc. It has a couple of small windows you can zip open. We had them open. Woefully inadequate. The wind absolutely destroyed it. Do not buy this product!
