About the Author

Jake Black is a writer with nearly 25 years experience writing for some of the biggest brands in the world. Beginning his career on the TV series Smallville, Jake has written several television episodes, books, and comics. He has written for brands like WWE, TMNT, Ben 10, Halo, Star Trek, Batman, Cartoon Network, Marvel, and DC Comics. A 15-year cancer survivor, Jake lives in a quiet Connecticut town with his wife and their three children.

Kiel Phegley is a writer of books and comics for young readers such as the award-winning graphic novel STRIKERS with artist Jacques Khouri. He's also written over ten titles starring Sonic the Hedgehog including the novelizations of the Blue Blur's blockbuster films and a raft of other books featuring popular characters. Kiel lives with his family in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he teaches college students about children's books and eats too many chili dogs.
