A little too wide

One major reason to have a file cabinet is to put files in there, typically hanging files. Unfortunately, the drawer for the hanging files is just a little bit too wide for the folder hooks to reliably stay in-place. Apart from that, the drawers glide smoothly. Thhe wheels are pretty typical plastic wheels for this type of furniture -- they will surely pick up a lot of hair and debris even if you don't roll the cabinet around much. The holder for the pencils, paper clips, etc., is pretty nice, especially for the fact that there are notches to hold it in place in your chosen spot.

Quality Unit

I'm very impressed with the quality so far. The metal used in the construction is about twice as thick as what I've seen in other file cabinets. The important joints are welded, not screwed together, the lock is strong and comes with 2 keys, and the unit is shipped with wheels and standoffs so you have a choice of bases. It weighs 50 pounds and it's obvious why -- this unit is put together very well (it also comes pre-assembled with all the corners protected with fitted moldings).
