Missing Items

The item itself, is as described but rating as a 1 star because I ordered 4 and I only received 2. And when you try and report the issue, it wants to refund the amount and you send back the item you received and I don’t have time to do so because I needed these for a project. I’m extremely disappointed there’s not an option to receive the remaining items I paid for instead of having to go the return item route.

Pretty good

These are very nice little stands, structurely sound, and the color is really good. The only reason for four stars is because the white paint was a teensy bit cracked/flaked in one or two places and the wooden boards weren't completely smooth on one of the edges. But for the price they are wonderful and I'm sure I can always repair it if they really end up annoying me.

Versatile applications!

"I got several of these and putting them together was super easy. These are very sturdy. I was concerned I got too many, and then after finding places where they solved problems in several areas, and I had placed all of them, my sweet man asked me if I had any left over for him. Easiest to assemble ever.

It was just me sitting on the couch not really needing directions, putting the shelves together in minutes. All you need is the provided allen key to put the shelves on the stands. They are small enough to put on my portable island without using needed space. You can push them together as on shelf, or spread them out. And they match my rustic island as if they came together. I might use them for my salt and pepper shakers along with my spices I regularly use. Great value for the money.

Assembly not so easy

I recently bought three sets of shelves from this company - 2 grey/black and 1 natural/white. I rated the grey ones at 5 stars but have to lower the rating for the natural set to 3 stars based solely on difficulty I had assembling and tightening down the screws. I believe the problem is because the wood for the natural set is much harder than the grey set and they drilled a very small starter hole. That combined with a very small plastic phillips screwdriver made it impossible for me to tighten the screws by myself. Hopefully someone with stronger hands can finish up the job for me. Much prefer the bolt type of fastener that came with other sets.
