Good looking, comfortable, construction issues

My spouse and I have mobility issues and getting out of upholstered swivel rockers is challenging. We bought two of these rockers. They look good, are comfortable and to get out of. The main issue is construction. The finish on the rockers is so slight that they almost seem and appear unfinished, I had to lightly sand and put an adequate finish on them myself. Also, as I put the finish on, I discovered that there were multiple places on both chairs where the manufacturer misdrilled holes or misaligned holes that were filled and noticeable on the chairs. Finally, I think the bottom cushion support should have cross bracing, which I added myself. Bought 8/2024.
