My wife.
Bought this a month ago. I love it. So handy with sleek functional design. Good for everyday outdoor and personal defense use. Love the tactical color.

a good light and slim pocketknife
The SOG Adventurer LB is a great, slim, lightweight folding knife. It’s something to slip into your pocket and forget. It’s not flexy-bendy, despite its lack of internal liners. That’s compensated by the teeter-totter of the locking bar which serves as a full-length back spacer and adds rigidity to the plastic scales. It’s not something you’d use on the ranch, but it’s good for ordinary cutting tasks. The color is subjective, but I like the ‘dusk purple’ - the almost dark yet almost pastel, saturated purple looks great with the black blade. I can snap it open with the thumb stud just fine. Being a lockback, closing it requires two hands every time. That is unless you want train one hand to go through the gyrations of sliding way back, pressing the lock bar hard, shaking the blade past the détente or using your thigh on the blade-back. Seems a lot easier to just use two hands like in the old days. I really like the similar SOG Altair XR, but it costs five times as much. ??? Comparing the two knives, the blades are almost the same length and same drop point shape, but a much better steel on the Altair. The size and weight are almost identical. But I couldn’t justify paying five times as much. All-in-all, the Adventurer LB is a good economical choice for a useful light pocketknife. And the color looks cool, so there ya go.

an excellent tool for the price
this was a Christmas gift and I have to say the balance and ease of opening with a secure lock surpass every other Knife in this price range I've ever owned

Handy!
Got the original knife for my husband to carry, but it was too big - and this one came as a gift - my husband is now carrying this one. Super handy, fits well in his pocket.

Nice knife
First knife I've bought for myself. Solid mechanics and a very sharp blade. Purchased 2 more for my longtime friends to celebrate our 50th year camping in Vermont. Thanks SOG!

Sturdy & well manufactured.
My only complaint is a bit stiff on release; & the release placement isn't ideal for for single handed operation...

Great EDC and custom engraving for the price.
Great everyday carry for the price. The blade holds a sharp edge with initial use and the handle fits well in my hand. Being a lefty, I appreciate the ambidextrous design for the thumb studs and removable clip. Opening was stiff at first, but has eased up with use. The custom engraving turned out better than expected and was well worth the added cost and wait (about 4 weeks from purchase to delivery).

Janky pocket clip but otherwise okay.
Overall it’s decent for the price. The open end of the pocket clip sits way too far proud of the handle and catches your shirt & everything else. It caught something so hard it’s now bent out and I have to remove it to bend it back but don’t have an allen drive small enough for the screws. Aside from that it’s fine for a small utility carry.

A great knife for EDC!
The Adventure LB-Dusk Purple + Black knife great every day carry (EDC) knife!! Good balance and a proper weight for all your every day and outside adventures. The blade is a good combination of keeping an edge and putting a fine edge on it metal. The price on the Adventure LB- Dusk Purple + Black is at a decent price point. Different handle colors add to the temptation of the Adventure LB too.

Purple and sharp
Nice knife for the price. Sharp right out of the package. Tight no wobble. Gave to my son’s girlfriend, purple is her favorite color. Would recommend. From northwest Pa.

almost perfect
I like the blade and weight. feels good in my hand. 2 problems for me. Hard to open with just your thumb. really requires 2 hands. worst is the clip. It is so close to the frame it is hard to clip to your pocket. Worse, it is almost impossible to get the clip off the pocket. I will need to remove the clip and try to bend it out enough to use.

Difficult to open
Nice enough knife, but really stiff; thumb studs are virtually useless (even after a liberal coat of Tuf-Glide lubricant.). T6 screws are very tight, and it requires a tool on both sides at once to adjust them; maybe it'll loosen up over time.

A nice small EDC knife
The Adventure LB Nordic Blue at first sight is a nice looking knife. Every thing on the knife is nice and tight and feels nice in your hand when it is opened. The blade is very sharp. The knife fits nicely in your pocket. Over all s nice EDC knife.
