been using slimfast for probably 20 years now. its gone through some changes over the years but never like this. the can doesn't say that the formula has changed which is very scammy feeling because it's truly vile now. i cant even bring myself to swallow it. what a waste of money. will not be buying again.

I’ve had Slim Fast for breakfast for about 28 years. Rich Chocolate Royale powder with skim milk has always been my favorite. I still enjoyed every sip even after all this time. I don’t drink it daily so it took awhile to finish a big can. Just finished it and bought a new smaller plastic container (it was all I could find). The flavor is different — a little smoky or chemical-tasting and very artificial. Big disappointment! I do not like it. Wish SlimFast would go back to the old formula.

So I have been using slimfast for a lot of years and I just had to throw out a whole cannuster of the new chocolate due to the nasty taste and smell. Why did you change something that was delicious to begin with?

I have been drinking slimfast solid every day since 2012, I drink it as a supplement and for nutrients not for losing weight. I almost died then and spent a week in the hospital getting blood transfusions and IV iron, and have had severe anemia since then. It was the ONLY thing that helped me feel better, and made my hair and nails grow back, and still helps to this day. Slimfast is my staple for health, and what keeps my iron levels steady, regulates my blood sugar - Im hypoglycemic, and gives me energy as well. I also got my late husband on it 3 years ago and it helped his health greatly too, helped him gain the weight he very much needed to, he was diabetic and it helped regulate his bs so well he got off of insulin COMPLETELY in only several months!! He was a 2 time kidney transplant recipient, and slimfast helped him feel better than he had in years!! When he first got sick in 2004, he lost all the hair on the top of his head, and in 2023 within 6 mos of starting the slimfast with me, his hair started growing back in, it was incredible. He was shocked and it literally made him cry. We knew it was the slimfast cuz that's the only thing that changed for him!!! I make them in a nutribullet with frozen fruit and some ice, or with reg fruit. He was murdered and his death had nothing to do with his kidneys unfortunately. I now am in stage 2 CKD and will continue to use it, but I normally order the creamy milk chocolate original from amazon cuz it's the one that works best for me, and it tastes the best, but it is not available right now. I read someone bought slimfast from an Irish company, and will be HQ in America,I hope that means it will be available very soon. Can you tell me if this is the case? Will the original powder cannisters start to be on store shelves again too?? Also, I wish you would remove the soy in it, but think it's got really great whey proteins. And you should market it as a nutritional protein drink and not just a weight loss product, I am a testimony to how great it is!!!

Well, I’m starting tomorrow so I’m hoping to be 50 pounds lighter by June 1

I used this product before and was happy either the weight loss effect. There are many different products however I am coming back to this one. It’s the best.

I have been drinking the Chocolatey Royale flavor for over 20 years, not as a diet aid but it gave me energy, must likely due to the vitamins. The new formula is totally disgusting both in flavor and consistency. It foams up, tastes completely artificial, leaves questionable residue behind and makes you feel queasy. I will be finding another protein shake. No wonder the popularity is taking a nose dive.

I have been using the Chocolatey Royale SlimFast for several years and always enjoyed its delicious flavor. Similar to other reviews here, I find the new formulation tastes awful. Even though the packaging says "Original" it is obvious that something is dramatically changed. I have 6 containers of the this and I can't drink it. What a waste!

The new chocolatey royale is horrible, I had to spit it out and immediately threw away the rest, and why would you say it's the "same great taste but new packaging" when it's clearly not true.

Slimfast creamy milk chocolate powder has been a must in our household for at least the last (55) years. My wife is 81 yrs old, 82 in July, and maintains a size 2 petit, 5'4", and has more energy than anyone I know. My job is locating and purchasing her slimfast.

Slim Fast Powder begins my day! I am almost 75 and I have had a Slim Fast shake every morning for decades. Rich Chocolate Royale powder with almond milk is my choice, but when traveling, I take the bottles. I have no hunger for hours but I have energy. I ride horses and substitute teach high school. I am quite slim at just over 100 lbs. Slim Fast Powder is the basis of my nutrition. It is difficult to find now. Please do not discontinue this product. It is so good!

The creamy chocolate is my favorite I blend it with ice it come out like a milk shake.

I will only drink the Rich Chocolate Royal but it seems that it’s harder and harder to get. I hope it’s not getting discontinued. If this was the case I would have to look for a different brand that tastes the same or just opt out as a whole.

I love making these Slimfast shakes in my shake mixer. I simply add 1 scoop of chocolate Slimfast powder add some ice and 8 ounces of skim milk, blend it in my mini shake blender for about 2 minutes. It's thick, and rich , it tastes like a Wendy's chocolate frosty, for real! It fills me up for up to 5 hours and I have so much energy!!!

Bought this for the first time as the keto/high protein versions have become difficult to find. Taste is not good, compared to th other two versions the taste is awful. Very metallic and off putting. Please bring back the high protein or keto version!

You'll love slimfast original shake mixes!! you'll lose weight fast!! and it's simple. eat 1 sensible meal a day and replace the other 2 meals with slimfast shakes or slimfast smoothies and give slimfast 1 week and slimfast will take off the weight and it works great!! you lose lots of weight and it's healthy!! the shakes are delicious!! French vanilla is my favorite slimfast drink mix!! just go by directions. drink lots of water and excersize on a regular basis too to stay in great health.

The first ingredient is literally sugar. There is nothing healthy in this at all.
