A: Palm Oil is used in this product because it is“natural” oil and helps eliminate the oil separation seen in other natural peanut butters. The palm oil is extracted from the palm fruitlet by pressing. Subsequent processing steps are non-chemical and thus palm oil can be considered “natural”. Many consumers want to serve natural peanut butters to their families, but they dislike having to stir the oil into the product. Skippy Natural allows you to enjoy the benefits of Natural Peanut Butters without having the added step of having to stir.

Change it back
I use to love this product, but you change the recipe. The additional palm oil has made this too oily to the point I couldn't finish the one serving. I will have to now get a more expensive product from your competitor. I'm not a happy camper.

This is perhaps acceptable as a desperation choice. I was expecting more and was sorely disappointed. The taste is bland and it's grossly oily. I tried adding stevia and it was somewhat more palatable. I spread on apples and it was much better as this kind of add-on but only because the apples added sweetness and flavor. Would never purchase again.

Not happy with the change
I found this one day and was thrilled. Simple ingredients and No Sugar Added. I try to keep my blood sugars in check and this helps. I've used Skippy forever, as well. I bought this a couple of weeks ago, opened the jar and there was oil on the top. Palm oil was not an ingredient before and you've added it. Why couldn't you keep it the way it was? It was so nice not having to deal with the oil.

This is the ONLY peanut butter I buy. I use it often.
I love this peanut Butter!! I use it for cooking, I spread on everything and I eat it right from the jar. I have been eating peanut butter for 50+ years and this is the BEST!!

PLEASE …….LABEL the EXPIRATION DATE MORE CLEARLY!!!! The stamp on the lid is not very visible especially in the store. I never buy any food product without checking the expiration date. Thank you, A foodie!!!!

I love this PB!!! It's also one of the only ones I could give my service dog. I'm a type 1 diabetic so this is one of the only PB that I can eat regularly & not have it me with my blood sugars. I only wish it cost a little less as I can't get it regularly because I'm on disability with no other help.

Never buying again!
First of all this product is NOT peanut butter - it's peanut butter SPREAD. This means it has less than 90% peanuts. So what makes up the (at least) other 10%? Palm oil and salt. Not that either of these ingredients are harmful in and of themselves, but in the amounts indicated in this product they seem excessive. As for taste, even though there is no sugar, it still tastes sweet. The product lacks real peanut flavor. The consistency is better than peanut butter that contains only peanuts and salt, however, the flavor is bland and somewhat artificial.

Never again.
I have bought this several times before and really enjoyed it. Not this time. There was a large quantity of oil on top and I actually had to struggle to stir it in and still never got it fit to eat. Something is wrong if the peanuts and oil do NOT stay mixed.

I love this peanut butter. Love that no sugar is added. Sadly, my store seems to have stopped carrying it since the last time I bought it. Now I don't know where to find it. The where to buy tab on this website does not work, it takes me to a product page, not a search page.

it's a little dry, but still good
Currently eating on a cinnamon raisin bagel. It started out a little dry, but by the end of the bagel, i don't notice it anymore. It only has 4 grams of carbs and up to 7 grams of protein, so i'm loving that. The flavor is good as always, so if Skippy works on the texture a bit, it will be perfect to me. Great first edition of a new lower sugar product. Thank you, Skippy!

Low carb peanut butter
This is great peanut butter, I'm on a ketogenic diet and put this in the blender with protein powder and some berries, coconut milk and water. Very delicious. Some times I just have a tablespoon full to make the hunger rumble go away.
