Perfect tool to get the job done. Able to do everything needed and more with the extra battery capacity. Usb adapter also a plus!

I like everything about this saw , except the depth adjuster is very chincy.

So far I a great saw and with the 5 yr warranty even better

The saw worked fine when I was using it and I like that it wasn’t too heavy. However with less than 2 hours on the battery it would no longer charge. Skil was no help because I misplaced my receipt. That is understandable but will be shopping for a new saw other than skil now since I had this issue.

1. I like the fact that the motor is small and the shoe (base) is wide (see pic). I usually use the saw shoe and a piece of long wood as a saw guide. Wide shoe with a small motor minimizes the chance that the saw will bump into any obstacles. 2. The 0 and 45 deg notches should also be available on the opposite internal opening side of the shoe. This will help more precision cutting. 3. The brushless sensor control is very sensitive and will stop the motor for no good reasons. 4. The charger is very noisy and does not charge fast. 5. Although the USB charge port is rated at 2.1A. It actually provides much less than that (Don’t know if it’s because the lack of proper support of USB handshake signals. It’s pretty useless for new devices). Regardless, for DIY projects, I still think it’s a good saw and I recommend it.

Skil 6 1/2 20volt saw is perfect for Diy projects...

Excellent value, and perfect for left handed folks like me.

Boght this saw for two reasons. 1 - I'm a lefty and the cutting blade is on my side, 2 - It's more powerful than my other cordless saw. In addition, it came with a fast charger and a great little USB charger that works with the Skil 20 volt power supplies.

Light enough to use with one hand, good long charge in battery, easy assembly

Do not buy. Definitely not quality built. returned 2 just this week. Both loose shoes and one had the retaining nut fall off when I was loading blade. I would say to spring for the 7 1/4, looks to be better built.

Nice saw. It cuts well and does a good job. But, the safety switch is too far fr9m the trigger. You either have to use both hands to get it started or start the saw while holding it up in the air. It’s very hard to start it while having the saw on ur piece of wood. Also if ur right handed it’s almost impossible to see the saw cut at the beginning of ur cut. The battery lasts a long time and recharges quickly.

This is a very nice addition to my tool collection. Very convenient. I've used it many times over the past serverl months and I love it

So far I love this saw. As a 20 year Handyman it’s one of my most used tools tools. Plenty of power for what I need.

Very impressive. Cuts good and has decent battery life. Much stronger than others

Lightweight but powerful. With a Diablo blade it's perfect for me.

Just what I wanted, uses the same batteries as other Skil tools I have. It is light weight yet cuts everything I have asked of it. Good balance and easy to use.

Tried to rip a 2x6 and saw "paused" multiple times. Didn't seem to have enough power. Generally like Skil and have been converting my tools to SKIL but this gives me concern.

Used several times and it cut cleanly. Was impressed with it.

So far soo good, battery life is great, cuts good
