Q: Does the unit need to be placed at or above sink level (i.e. on a countertop) or can it be on a shelf below the counter (top of the unit about even with the countertop) with the hose running up and into the sink to drain?

If you are running a combined wash and dry cycle, the total time will depend on the wash mode you select. So this item is really good for small spaces except not extra small spaces. I got to open this dishwasher. It definitely put pots inside. That was a downside for me. The plates are fine. It was a little too high for my comfort space so I had to return with overall great value for your money and it’s a good efficient dishwasher for small spaces. My counter space is very low. I was hoping this would fit, but it was a little too big in height. That’s my own reason for returning.

Due to the size and water pressure limitations of the countertop dishwasher, it does require some usage techniques for removing dried or stubborn stains. We suggest you try the following methods: Preparation of tableware: Before placing, remove large pieces of residue, especially those made of starch, protein or dried food. Choose the appropriate program: For greasy or difficult-to-clean tableware, it is recommended to use the "Strong" mode. In this mode, the water temperature is higher and the cleaning time is longer, resulting in better cleaning results. Make sure to add the dishwashing agent correctly: Please use the dedicated dishwashing powder/liquid. The recommended dosage is 8-12 grams each time, and ensure that there is no residue or damp clumps in the dishwashing agent compartment. Check the filter screen and spray arm: If the filter screen or spray arm is clogged with food residue, it will directly affect the water flow intensity. It is recommended to disassemble and clean them regularly (refer to page 11 of the manual for details). Regarding the issue of refilling the water tank, the instructions are not clear enough. We apologize for this. In fact, in the water tank mode, you only need to keep adding water to the tank until the machine emits three "Di" beeps and the water indicator light goes out, which indicates that the water tank is full. Usually, about 4-5 liters of water are needed, depending on the beeping sound. If the above suggestions have not been effective for you, it might be that there is an anomaly with the machine itself (such as insufficient heating or low water spray pressure). We recommend that you contact the after-sales support and provide specific information for further inspection or to arrange for maintenance. Great for baby bottles. It washes them even better than my regular dishwasher. We opted for this since it can grow with us and do toddler cups and dishes as well. When camping we’ve used it for normal dishes and it does great for those as well. Only thing is sometimes we have to tighten the arm on top but it is an easy fix.

I recently purchased the Somalis Min Dishwasher. I do appreciate the interior light that aids in visibility while loading and unloading. The choices of different wash cycles is helpful, It runs quietly and cleans the dishes adequately. As there was no specific dish soap recommended by the manufacturer, I have chosen one that fits into my low environmental impact outlook. It appears that the soap I am currently using is more proportioned for the larger size machines. Just Wondering if there are smaller packaged options for the smaller portable sized machines. Any suggestions in that area would be appreciated as I don’t see that overdoing the cleaning agent for the smaller machines is a good thing.

Wonderful Small Dishwasher
This has been such a help and wonderful to use. My traditional big dishwasher died & good riddance. My house didn't do well with the power draw of a traditional dishwasher. This small dishwasher is great and the power used hasn't caused any issues. The dishes have come out clean and the drying feature is great. The only downside is I'd avoid putting anything in there that may not be able to stand the heat as I lost a mug design that way. To be fair I do normally hand wash that one & didn't think about it before putting it in the dishwasher. So, if in doubt hand wash instead of putting it in this machine. Overall I'm happy with the noise level, cleaning power & features. I love the reservoir option instead of having to hook it to the sink all the time. I highly recommend this. I do think it may be a little large for some on their counter top. I have mine on a rolling cart & store it in the space where my old dishwasher used to be.

It works great!! It holds a lot of dishes and is great for toddler dishes and sippy cups as well. The drain pipe on the back has to be sealed in really tight, the way the instructions show in the booklet don't explain it well so I can see how user error can cause some kitchen flooding. I placed the collar over the pipe after placing it on the valve and tightened it all the way, and have yet to experience any flooding! It's not silent but it's not so loud that it wakes my kid up which is great! Lol. I highly recommend this dishwasher to anyone who's skeptical because it has so few reviews. I also recommend using powder detergent rather than pods.

This dishwasher is fantastic! It’s the perfect solution for my small kitchen. Its compact size lets me enjoy the convenience of dishwashing even in tight spaces. I used a plastic box and bucket to handle drainage and made sure to trim the drains properly to avoid blockages. As long as it isn’t overloaded, it works flawlessly.
