A: Hello Helen, Yes, it is absolutely okay to use an LED bulb for the Signature Design by Ashley Hallburg Floor Lamp in Black. According to the product specifications, the lamp has: 1 E26 socket, type A bulb (not included) 150 watts max or LED equivalent UL Listed The product description specifically mentions "LED equivalent," which confirms that LED bulbs are compatible with this lamp. Just make sure the LED bulb you choose is: E26 base (standard screw base) Type A bulb shape 150-watt equivalent or less LED bulbs are actually a great choice for this lamp as they use less energy, produce less heat, and last much longer than traditional incandescent bulbs. It’s perfect! Well made and very stylish. I like the texture on the base. I’m so happy the shade is white as pictured. It is heavier than what I expected. I’m surprised it’s not priced higher.

Check your shades
Ii bought two. Assembly is required and it took me about 30 minutes. The lamp shades are poorly made. The threading is unreviling and stained in small areas

It’s a great lamp!
I loved that lamp was easy to put together. It came packaged securely although 2 people are required to put it together. The lamp provides plenty of light.

It took over a month for me to receive this, and it was in stock! It is a hefty, clean modern looking lamp but be prepared to see where each section screws together, shows very prominent! Also some of the finish had rubbed off in places. It was packed in the kind of styrofoam that gets everywhere. 😡 I wouldn’t purchase this again. Meh

It’s ok
The shade is poorly put together. It’s just barely tucked under some thread on the shade. One prong has already come out. When assembly the base, the top piece seemed to not want to fit. Had higher expectations for this lamp.

The lamp was hard to put together and very heavy. It was in three sections with the base being the heaviest. It was very awkward to put together, and then the backside of one of the pieces had paint worn off. I am planning on returning it.

This floor lamp lights up the whole room! If you have a dark corner this lamp will solve your problem! The base has beautiful designs and the shade is large so the light escapes easily.

Love the look but…..
Loved the look of this lamp but I didn’t know that the base would be in two pieces. We tried and tried but we couldn’t get the two pieces to screw together correctly so it was VERY obvious that it was in two pieces. We bought two of these lamps- on one the base pieces wouldn’t line up and screw together correctly and the other lamp didn’t work. Unfortunately, we had to send both lamps back.

Gorgeous Lamp, not your everyday lamp
