Based on the manufacturer's compatibility requirements, the SideTrak Slide 12.5" monitor is likely NOT a good fit for the smaller Surface Go. Here is the breakdown of the compatibility issue: 📏 1. Minimum Size Requirement The SideTrak Slide monitors are designed to attach to the back of a laptop screen and then slide out using a track system. This track system requires a certain amount of flat space on the back of the device. SideTrak Minimum Requirement: The manufacturer states that the laptop screen must be at least 11.25 inches wide by 8.5 inches high to properly accommodate the attachment plates and the sliding track. Surface Go (all models): The Surface Go is a very small 10.5-inch tablet/laptop. Its dimensions (without the Type Cover) are approximately 9.65 inches wide by 6.9 inches high. The Surface Go is significantly too small on both the width and height measurements to support the SideTrak Slide 12.5" securely. I recently purchased the SideTrak
I recently purchased the SideTrak as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. She does human resources for a huge conglomerate insurance company. Anyway she has the ability to work from home and always struggled to keep her at work pace. I surprised her with the SideTrak and she is extremely impressed by how simple it was to setup and get going. She also expressed how the picture quality was superb. Very grateful for the innovative tech!

I love it . I use it daily remotely and it has really increased my ability to review sprradsheets while I post. So lightweight . My only wish is that the cord was just long enough to reach my laptop and the end of it once it is fully extended. The cord is too long and has slack that hangs.

I do not like sitting
I do not like sitting in one spot for long periods of time, but fortunately, this portable monitor makes changing scenery easy. I used it with my 15 inch laptop and even though it's not the same width, it worked out great. I haven't had any problems with it and so thankful that I can move from my bed, to the couch, to the outdoors and still continue to work. I'm purchasing my dad one right now for Father's Day!! Also- I really hope they come out with a touch screen monitor soon!!! As my 15 inch laptop is a touch screen, and I keep almost reaching towards the side trak to swipe; Anyways, this is the BEST. Worth every penny.

I work for a large corporation and have been working out of my truck since the start of the pandemic. We have lots of restrictions on company laptops for security reasons. Had to spend a good deal of time with our IT support to get drivers loaded, etc. Been using it for about a week and it has been rock solid. Works exactly as I had hoped to expand my screen space when using multiple apps!
