Shout Triple-Acting Laundry Stain Remover is tough on stains, but gentle on your color-fast machine-washable fabrics. It’s triple-acting formula Clings onto fabric stains in the washing cycle, Penetrates stains quickly once sprayed upon, and Lifts stains off of fabric. Shout Triple-Acting is 50x more concentrated than in-wash powder* and works on a wide range of everyday stains like food, grass, dirt, and blood. Safe for all colorfast washables and works in all water temperatures. Shout has the stain-fighting ingredients to break up and remove tough stains so you can live in the moment, and clean up later.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Turn nozzle to “ON.” Cover the stain with Shout Triple-Acting formula and rub in. Wait 1-5 minutes. Launder in warmest water fabric will accept. To refill, unscrew cap and pour Shout® Triple-Acting liquid into bottle.

A: I don't see why it wouldn't. I've sprayed on blood, food and even crap on my drawers DAYS before washing. Cleans brilliantly.

A: Excellent question, Bridget. Shout® Triple Acting may not be the product for that stain. If affected clothing was never dried, you may try re-washing affected clothing using 2 new Shout® Color Catcher sheets. The dye may still be loose enough for the sheets to capture and pull it back out. However, we cannot guarantee their effectiveness if large amounts of dye have transferred to the fabric. Not helpful for menses/period stains.
Worked really well, blood did not come out the first time. It faded it to green. Some stains on whites were also not lifted, let it sit longer, and was still present on some. Will be shopping around for a different product for these stains. It also does have a typical chemical smell. I am not fond of running additional loads multiple times, so I will not recommend this product currently.

Foul smell
I usually love shout stain remover, so I purchased a refill. However, it smells really bad... it doesn't smell like the normal shot stain spray. I've never purchased a refill bottle before so I'm not sure if it was a bad bottle, or if it just has a bad smell to it.

It still had the yellow tint, even after washing in the warm water and let it sit before that. The scent of the product is pleasant and not overpowering since you have to let it sit for about five minutes.

I got this one to try out considering so many great reviews. I can be very particular about my clothes and sometimes if I see sweat stains on my workout clothes I use stain remover and my current one has been working out just great. What's with the Shout grains?
I’ve always sworn by Shout for stain removal…blood, grease, chocolate? No problem! Grass and dirt? Tough, but it’ll eventually go with a Clorox 2 assist. I routinely bought spray bottles of it and refilled them with the jug. In the last year, I’ve noticed that the stains are not as removed as they used to be. Blood and chocolate hang in there, grass laughs at it, and grease sticks around for a couple washes. AT THE SAME TIME, I started noticing small granular pieces in my bottle that would come out with the spray and then stick to the treated area and feel gritty once dried. I thought the bottle was aging and it was plastic, but there was more in the refill jug, like a light sediment. Almost empty anyway; I tossed both. Brand new bottle gave me a couple weeks of newly substandard stain removal and then started spitting out grit again. Refill jug and new bottle purchased probably 6-8 months apart…I’m so disappointed.

Horrible Rash
I used this on a few pieces of my kids clothes as a desperate attempt to save their clothes that were stained. This was the only new product we used, we used all our same detergent and it caused my son to have a huge rash covering his entire body from head to toe. We’ll be looking for something that is a bit more natural that won’t cause such a horrible reaction for my kids.
