Seems to clean my bite guard well. But I've used it with the cleaning tablets for a white gold necklace and a ring and it's not strong enough to do those. My husband put them in his big sonic cleaner and cleaned them up. Easy to use but I've got no way to test that it kills the germs. Looks and tastes clean so I'm sticking with it.

This retainer cleaner is so great! I previously purchased a different one that broke within 1 month. This particular one is so much better. It cleans my son's retainer better than brushing alone and it is so fast! It is quiet, does a great job and is so easy to use.
