Great professional unit designed and built to last.
This is a well made, professional hair clipper, great for home or the barber shop. I previously had a plastic one that literally fell apart. This stainless beauty cuts efficiently and quietly. With a little care (occasional cleaning and oiling), this hair clipper should give many years (even decades) of good service. It's just a little heavy, but well built. Plastic would surely be lighter (and would fall apart in a year or two like mine did). It's an extraordinary deal at the Sharper Image price
