Seventh Generation Extra Strong Tall Kitchen Drawstring Trash Bags - Case of 12/20 ct

Oh these bags right here are the goat! They actually hold very well for the price and I haven’t had any complaints using them. Seventh generation has great products.

These trash bags are good quality and they’re normally my go to, seventh generation is a nice brand because of the price and durability of the bag

I love these bags because there are no added perfumes or added chemicals. This means a lot to our family.

Have been using for years, and haven't had any problems. I use them to hold garbage (I don't have that much garbage actually), and also to hold plastic film for recycling. It's true that they can be I guess maybe a bit more difficult to open than other bags, but it's in my judgment not really that big a deal.

These bags are horrendous. Mine were sealed shut on the bottom, sides, AND top. The only way I am able to use them is if I rip the top of the bag and peel the layers apart manually. This has only been effective for about a quarter of the bags.

Getting ready to place another order for Seventh Generation trash bags and saw all the 1star reviews and just have to share my experience with these bags. Yes, 2 years ago I had a few bags that split open near the draw string when lifting full bag out of the can so now I grab the white plastic at the part of the bag right below the draw which eliminates stain on the drawstring. Have had no problems for last 2 years. Also be a little gentle with the bag when opening it before placing in your garbage can. It's a very minor inconvenience to pay for a product that works for me and uses 65% recycled plastic and does not do animal testing (they claim)

Complete waste of money. Out of 4 boxes purchased every single bag is not sealed at the bottom. Beware if you buy these. Be prepared to mop your floors because anything inside it is going to fall right out onto your floors!!

I'm disabled therefore to carry a trash bag it can only be half filled/easy to carry. None of the bags have been able to sustain my light weight usage and required all my trash to be double bagged. By no means are they Extra Strong.

Not fragrance-free. Very strong perfume smell inside each bag. One roll of these had a very strong bleach or disinfectant smell. Just opening the kitchen cabinet wafted strong sent. The last two boxes of these have been like that.

I have been using this brand of trash bags for years and I am so disappointed. The past several boxes my family have bought have frankly been trash. They rip apart the moment you try to open them. The sides and bottom are super flimsy and tear apart as you try to open the bags leaving them useless. It creates such a waste of product and a huge waste of money. This never used to be a problem but we will no longer be buying these bags

I used to buy these bags all the time and liked them. Now they seem to have shrunk, and are made from such a fragile plastic it tears just putting things into the trash. Further they have a scent/odor, though the bags aren't marked as such. It has given everyone in my sensitive house respiratory problems.

I bought 5 boxes of these and literally 90% of the time the bottom totally falls out of them. How are these extra strong and an actual product being sold?

I've used these bags for a couple of years and they used to be tolerable - would rip occasionally but overall were usable. But they've changed recently and now are almost useless. The plastic is so fragile that I often poke a hole in it just putting the bag into the can (I don't even know how this happens, other than that the material has zero tolerance for being stretched), and the two sides of the bags are stuck together so firmly when they come out of the box that it's almost impossible to open the bag up. Also, the rim that contains the drawstring tears off regularly when I take the full bag out of the can, and it's not like it's overly full, just to capacity. I find myself having to use two bags for most loads of garbage, and occasionally one tears so badly when I open it up out of the box that I just throw it away. Finally, the last batch I bought has some sort of fragrance added to it that's unpleasant on it's own and disgusting when combined with a little bit of garbage smell. Definitely not what I would expect from a company that's supposed to be environmentally friendly.

The construction of these bags requires effort to open up the bag from the inside. It is as if the sides of these bags have been sealed shut. Someone needs to go back to the drawing board to redesign the manufacturing of these bags so that these bags open easily so they can easily slip into the recepticle.

I foolishly purchased two boxes of these garbage bags. Extra Strong?! Every single bag rips at the seam. They are super weak.

I bought the 'Extra Strong' kitchen bags and every single bag I opened to use split open at the seam! So much for the extra strength when the construction of the bag itself doesn't hold up.

These bags are just as strong as name brands bags in my opinion. I'll stick with these since they are more beneficial to the environment.

I've been using the 13gallon string-tie bags for about 6 months. They fit my Simplehuman trash can well. Haven't had any punctures or rips but sometimes one end of the tie string breaks off and makes tying the bag tough - I had this happen on another brand's mint scented bags with the same frequency. I like not using purely virgin plastic for bags that are being thrown in the trash.
