Unexpectedly terry cloth

The quality seems fine but everything (including the hat!) is made of terry cloth? I just can't imagine a terry cloth hat being comfortable on a hot day. The screen print is also very stiff and I'm not sure how it'll hold up on a high pile material like this. Just seems like an odd choice.
