One day, just locked us out
We've had this for almost 2 years and last week, it just stopped working. The code changed somehow and we had to take out the hinge pins to get back inside. Once inside, we tried resetting the code, but you need the code to set a new one (which the box just randomly assigned I guess??). Reached out to customer service and they basically said ‘oh well'. It's expensive to not be better quality!

Can't open it once assembled
I bought this to hold medication to keep it safe around the kids. After assembling it- which wasn't too bad- I decided to keep the combination at zeroes to make it easy for me. I closed the box, and it never opened again. I now have a very expensive box that I can't do anything with. You can't return it once assembled, so I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Assembly is ridiculous
We got the box for our neighborhood's private dog park to hold toys in. It does its job The assembly was a pain though. It is not easy to assemble at all. It takes a lot of force to get the walls into the slots of the base. The screwdriver it comes with is awful. The holes are too small for the screws so most of the screws aren't screwed in all the way. Only good thing is that they give you extra screws since they are so tiny and easily lost. For $45, the assembly was so stupidly hard. My advice, get something already assembled than this thing.

Light gauge but does the trick.
Lighter gauge than I expected but seems to do the trick for my purpose to keep out honest folks. . Assembly required but it took maybe 10 minutes. I appreciate they provide extra screws though I didn't need them. Lock code is easy to set.

All locked up
I bought this to replace one that broke after a month of use from another brand. This is sturdy and holds anything we need to keep our kids out of. The first one had a bad latch and I couldn't get it open after I closed it. I returned it and got another one hoping for the best ad it worked out. The lock is sturdy so I expect this to last us a while.

Might have been great had it locked
This probably would have been a great lock box if it had ever worked. The locking mechanism never worked you can't even fully close it or lock it. Was a complete waste on money look elsewhere

Doesn't come assembled, and assembly is difficult. Once put together, flimsy and doesn't lock properly.

Good lock box
We bought this lock box in 2020. We used it for over 3 years and it worked well. I didn't find it hard to assemble. We used it in our pantry to hide treats and junk food from our kids. Problem was our youngest is a wizard and always found out the code so we had to change it regularly. In the end, I changed the code and forgot to write it down so we had to destroy it. That's the only negative about this unit, there's no backup method to get in. BTW, it was only $45 in 2020. I would recommend this.
